A module is a small program designed to perform a certain function within a region. 

For example, the Text Editor module performs the function of word processing.  You can only have one module per region, but multiple modules per page.

To select a module, hover over an orange dotted box. Click the Add a Component button, indicated by the plus icon.

This will launch the module picker screen.  Select the module you would like to use by clicking on the icon.

Once you have added the module to the region, click on “Edit Component” indicated by the pencil symbol that appears when you hover over the region.
