• Add a Text Box Adding a Text Box to your directory is a great way to sort information such as names, contacts, titles, and phone numbers. You also have the option to have default text appear in the Text Box to give an example or brief description of the information you’d like to have submitted in this box.
   
• Add an Email Field The email field allows a place for emails to be entered. This will create a link to email each contact.
   
• Add a Text Area A text area is a great way to add a description to your directory entry.
   
• Add a Drop Down List Adding a drop down list is a great was to add predictive elements to your directory.
   
• Add a Radio Button A radio button can be used when one option is possible from a list of choices. For example: when selecting an age bracket, you should use a radio button.
   
• Add a Check Box The add a check box option should be used when the user can select several options from a list of choices.
   
• Add a File Upload Adding a file upload allows you to upload a file for each data entry in your directory.
   
• Add an Image Upload Adding an image upload allows you to add a photo to each data entry.
   
• Add a Hyperlink Adding a hyperlink will allow you to link the data entry to another webpage. If the contact on your directory has its own website, you can enter it here.

Element Properties

As you add the Form Tools to the Form Work Space, you’ll notice that additional buttons will appear above the Work Space in the Properties Toolbar, offering individual options for each tool you add. These options are also available through clicking on the gear icon to the right of the tool when it is added to the ‘Work Space.’

The Element Properties screen enables you to set options for each field you select for your directory.

• The same properties are also located to the right of each element.
• Move Element Up/Down: The blue arrows allow you to move the selected tool to its desired place on your form. Additionally, you may drag and drop the element to the target location as well.
• Element Properties: The gear symbol opens the Tool Options screen for each element in the Directory Module, though the number and function of the options vary for each Form Builder Tool.
• Delete Element: The red ‘x’ symbol will delete the selected element when clicked.
