To edit an event, open the module and select the event from the appropriate folder on the left of the menu screen in the Event Tree. When you have selected an event, it’s details will appear in the fields to the right of the Event Tree, where you will be able to edit them as you did when first creating the event.
- Event Name (Required): In this field, enter the name of your event, i.e., ‘Fundraising BBQ.’
- Start Date (Required): Here, you may either type in the date of your event in mm/dd/yyyy format or you may select the target date from the expandable calendar to the right of the date field.
- Start Time: In the two drop-down boxes next to the Start Date field, you will be able to assign an exact time for your event.
- Add End Date: If you click on this option, Date and Time fields will appear and you will be able to specify a time and date of your event’s end.
- Location: In this field, you can type in the name of the location where your event is taking place.
- Description: In this field, you can write a description of your event as well as use this space to give your potential attendees more information such as entrance fees, schedules and headliners, etc.
- Add an Address: If you click on this option, three text fields will appear which will prompt you to provide a street address, city, state, and ZIP code where your event will take place.
- Save: Once you have edited the information for your event, click “Save” or “Save and Close” and your event will display in the region where you’ve added the Calendar module, with the time and date of the event along the left side of the event title.
