You can add a link to another webpage, within your own site or an external site under the Links tab on the menu bar.
To begin, select an event from the Event Tree to the left.
- URL Type: In this drop-down menu you’ll specify the type of URL your link requires.
- http:// should be used for most external websites
- https:// should be used for secured websites (e.g., websites which collect credit card information)
- local:// should be used for pages within your site. For these, only include the very last part of the URL (e.g., /Event.aspx)
- URL: Type the address of the target external site in this text field.
- Title: Enter a title for the link in this text field
- Open in New Window: Check this box if the link you’re adding leads to an external site. Leave it unchecked if the link refers to a page within your site.
- Add Link: Click this button when you have entered all the information for your link.
- If you’d like to Edit the details of the links you’ve added, click “Edit” for the target link. The information for that link will appear in the fields above the Links list where you will be able to edit and save it.
- To delete a link from your event, click “Delete” for the target link in the Links list. This will remove the link from your event.
